A must-visit destination that you have to consider if you are in passion in traveling is the African continent. Besides getting new experience, visiting African countries can open your mind with new horizon and perspective from the places that you visit.

Some people think Egypt as a place just for antiquities however actually it offers much more. The 2010 World Cup currently taking place in South Africa from 11 June to 11 July. As a host, South Africa will be visited by players, delegations and fans from participating countries and other countries. You might be one of the fans going there so here I share some of the traveling tips for fans during World Cup.

Some of the important things that you must consider are

• how to buy tickets for matches
• where the World Cup Stadiums and how to get there
• what offer during World Cup
• budget travel during World Cup

The important thing to find for sure are the World Cup stadiums. The matches will be held in ten stadiums across South Africa in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg (2 stadiums), Mangaung/Bloemfontein, Nelson Mandela Bay/Port Elizabeth, Nelspruit, Polokwane, Rustenburg, and Tshwane/Pretoria. Make sure you know how to go there and the nearest accommodation to the venue.

As we had repeated about this again and again, never forget to think about your safety. I agree you will enjoy a happy time there but also think about safety at the same time. Make sure you always cautious about where is you belongings and important documents or you might face problems when going back to your home.

When boarding on flight, note the restrictions on what items can be carried on board to avoid inconvenience or delays when you are passing through security checkpoints. The items include sharp objects such as scissors, nail clippers and knives. Fly as a real fans – you’re going to South Africa to support your team, not fighting each other.

p.s: I read a lot of complaints on Vuvuzela and there is petition to ban it during World Cup not only from the players and fans who’re going to the stadiums but also the people who watch through television all over the world due to its noise which is disturbing during matches. We’ll see what happen next.
