We’re planning on doing a trip throughout Australia on motorcycles. We have a group of 6 people that ride tandem and communicate with Helmet Microphones while we see the sites. I believe we are planning on going through Adelaide. If not, we’ll have to put it on the list. Thanks

One of the coolest things about Adelaide is the World Solar Challenge. It is a 3000 km solar-powered car race from Northern to Southern Australia ending in Adelaide. From what I’ve seen on t.v. it’s a beautiful city.

Adelaide is a great city, but overlooked compared to Sydney and Melbourne. Its the city of churches and based on a traditional grid system layout within the city centre. Its great stopping point for backpackers and experienced travellers alike.

Thank you for sharing about Adelaide! I have never been to Australia. Your post encouraging me to visit Australia… But these days we find increased harassment in Australia because of the racist. The travelers from India and Africa and most of the black people are scared about visiting Australia.. This is also one of the reasons that I never planned any trip to Australia.. I would keep your post for my future reference. I hope that the things will change and I would surely visit Adelaide!
