Never been to Germany, but I’m heading there this summer for a wedding. Are the German people friendly and helpful to foreigners or are they more like the French? Thanks!

I live in Berlin now and it is an amazing city! If you want to go a bit off the beaten path, I would suggest heading to Hermanplatz in Kreuzberg for a very BERLIN experience. Also, for more eccentric museums head off of Museum island and tour around the area of Alexander Platz for some smaller, off the beaten path places to discover.
